Tootsie’s Story…
Tootsie – black lab mix. Tootsie is about 10 months old. She is a black lab mix pulled from a high kill shelter. Tootsie had demodectic mange when she was pulled. After a few months of treatment, she is testing negative. She will continue her meds until she has one more negative test but so far, she is testing clear and looking awesome! Tootsie has loads and loads of energy. She can focus on something but not for long. She has been working on sit and will do it for a treat but praise fast, because soon she’ll be up and gone. Tootsie loves, loves, loves to play Frisbee. Although she can’t catch it (yet), she will pick it up and bring it back to you. She can also be seen carrying long sticks and prancing around the yard. Tootsie is too high energy for some small dogs. She only desires to play but her size and energy-level can be overwhelming. She also may be too high energy for small children as she could knock them down easily. Tootsie could benefit from some obedience classes. She is smart and eager to please. She likes to give hugs. Tootsie is a spayed female. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to be adopted. No cats please. Tootsie is neutered and up to date on her shots.
