Meet Opal
Opal is a 14 week old beagle/dachshund/lab mix. (These are all just guesses). She and her brother were pulled from a neighboring shelter. Unfortunately the evening they came home, the brother was diagnosed with parvo and died. Opal also came down with it but she recovered and she is full of spunk. Opal is still taking some meds for some parasites but other than that, she is quite healthy. Opal is not house trained. She loves, loves, loves other dogs. She loves toys. She is a little shy and is not really too sure of people. But we believe with love, patience and positive attention, she will overcome this. And the leash…well, that thing can go you know where. Since she’s not mastered the leash yet, we’d prefer a fenced in yard to keep her safe. Opal is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
