Daisy Mae’s Story…
Daisy Mae is a six year old terrier mix. The best guess we have as to her exact breed is possibly cairn. Daisy Mae is very sweet. She loves belly rubs and lap sitting. She gets along with other dogs and absolutely loves to wrestle and play with them. Daisy Mae would do well in an indoor home with at least one more dog. She does fair with cats. Daisy Mae has had several litters before but she is spayed now so her breeding days are behind her. Daisy Mae does have a flea allergy that we are treating with antibiotics. Once cleared up, she should do fine as long as she is giving monthly preventative. She also may need baths occasionally with oatmeal and/or medication to assist her skin in feeling better. Daisy Mae likes to be with people. She is almost 100% housebroken and would probably do great on a daily schedule and routine. Daisy Mae sleeps in the bed with her foster family at night but she’d do okay in a doggie bed, as long as she’s in the same room. Daisy will walk on a leash as her recall is not so great when something distracts her. Daisy Mae is up to date on vaccinations and rabies, heartworm tested, spayed and microchipped.
