Meet Lucy
Lucy is about two years old. She is maybe a beagle/dacshund mix. Lucy came to us pregnant but has helped her babies grow and frankly, she isn't very interested in being a mom anymore. Let's hope she's not expecitng Mother's Day cards. Lucy gets along with other dogs. She is working on her house training. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Dozer is the WBKR pet of the week!
Meet Dozer
Dozer is an eight month old lab mix. He came to us after being surrounded because he was hit by a car and he needed more treatment than owners wished to provide. He now has three legs but don't be fooled! He doesn't let that slow him down. He loves to run and play and gets along great with other dogs! Dozer is working on his house training. Wilber is the WBKR Pet of the week!
Wilbur is a 1 1/2 year old beagle mix. He is short and stocky. He came to us from a nearby shelter. Wilbur is a good guy, he is a recent graduate of the Death Row Dogs program which ns he has been house and crate trained and knows basic obedience. He gets along well with other dogs and us just generally a well behaved dog. It's unknown how Wilbur would do with cats, but we suspect he might chase them. Meet Athena
Hi my name is Athena! I am approximately 2 years old. I came to SparKY after I was found with a broken back on the side of the road in April 2020. No one claimed me so SparKY stepped in to help me get better, I had a long recovery as my back took several months to mend. I am able to move my hind legs but unfortunately, I am no longer able to support my weight on them due to the nerve damage in my spine. I have a doggie wheelchair to help me walk when I go outside or in the house. I also have drag bags which I use inside so as I don’t get carpet burn on legs, my foster mom says I am the fastest two-legged dog you will meet. I am very much a beagle, I love to smell things when I am outside and will follow my nose if you allow me. I know the song of my people and have a very soulful beagle voice. I wear diapers as I leak urine a little. My foster mom will express my bladder so that I stay drier but it is not necessary for me to have it done as I can urinate when I go outside or if you hold me over a toilet or a pee pad. I love yard time outside with my fellow doggie housemates. I require a fenced in yard or someone to stay with me outside because I like to follow my nose wherever the smells take me. I will come with my cart, drag bags, and cloth diapers. I have a very soulful expression. I love to have my head patted and my neck rubbed. I am looking for my fur-ever home, will you please adopt me? I promise to be a good girl.

Wentworth is a 7 month old shepherd mix. Wentworth is a gentleman. He is very sweet but sometimes tears things up, like puppies do. Frosty is the WBKR Pet of the week!
Frosty is a four to five-month-old shepherd mix (maybe). Frosty came to us from the local shelter after being dropped off there with his sibling. Both were suffering from a very bad case of parvovirus. Frosty's sibling, unfortunately, did not make it but Frosty pulled through and is very healthy. Frosty is a loving, fun pup. He loves to play and he loves other dogs. Although his enthusiasm is a little much for them sometimes. He is not housebroken. Frosty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Frosty would do well with an active family and would love some kids to call his own! Any toys - he needs toys - and lots of them!

Caramel is a 12 week old chihuahua mix. She is very lovable and loves to be the center of attention. She loves to cuddle but will sing the song of her people if she feels neglected. She is up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed.

Meet Fallon DRD graduate
Fallon is a one 1/2-year-old terrier mix. She doesn't know her own strength and doesn't need to live with small children or small dogs. Fallon was found abandoned in a house in Ohio County. Fallon loves people and wants to be around you all the time. She is a funny girl who has a beard. She loves attention. She can be nervous and skidding if unsure. Fallon is working on her house training. Fallon is energetic and playful. She would do best with a secure fence. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
