Miracle is the 92.5 WBKR Pet of the week!

Meet Miracle

Miracle received her name because when she came into rescue she
was in rough shape. She came to SparKy with demodex mange and a ruptured
right eye. Remarkably, the eye healed and did not need to be removed,
though it will always be a little different than the left. It gets
droopy when she gets tired and it is slightly discolored, but we believe
she does have vision in it. The vet says the difference is purely
cosmetic. Miracle has been working hard on her housetraining, though
being a stubborn hound, she’s not 100% yet. This little girl is busy and
is not one to sit on the couch and snuggle with you for long, unless
she’s tired. She wants to play- a lot! Miracle loves toys- especially
anything that squeaks or crinkles. She loves other dogs no matter how
big or small. She is highly food motivated! If you are interested in

Liam is the WBKR Pet of the week!

Meet Liam

Liam (Lee-Lee) is a cuddle buddy. He thinks he is part cat as he
likes to lay on the back of the couch or lay on your head. He enjoys
snuggling in the bed with you at night. He is very vocal when you come
and go as he wants to tell you all about his thoughts on it. He does
well in a kennel however if he can’t have anything in there other than a
pee pad or he will potty in it. Liam loves his food: dry, canned, and
small dog treats. He will try to steal a bite of people food if you
aren’t careful.
Liam needs work on house training. He knows the concept but he will
sneak off in the house to go if you don’t watch him closely. Liam has a
luxating patella and will hold his leg up, but it doesnt slow him down.

Frankie is the WBKR Pet of the week!

Meet Frankie - DRD Graduate

Frankie is a young lab mix, maybe about nine months. We were asked to take him by a nearby shelter as he had been hit by a car and their vet suggested euthanizing him. Frankie had a broken leg, torn ACL, and numerous bruises and lacerations on his body. Although his leg did not heal quite right, he gets around pretty good. He is still healing from his torn ACL. He loves other dogs and he loves to play. Mostly for us, he just rolls on his back for a belly rub.

Frankie is a Death Row Dog. A graduate of a prison training program at the Green River Correctional Complex, in Central City, KY. Each dog lives in a cell with two trainers. This is a 12-week intense training program that is designed for the dog's unique behavior needs as well as basic obedience, house training, crate training and of course, tricks.
