Meet kenny

Kenny is a five year old jack Russell mix. When he came to us from a local shelter, he had a previously broken leg that was never treated. As a result, his leg had to be amputated. Kenny is such a cuddle bug. He'd love to find a lap to curl up in. He does fine with other dogs in his foster home. We are unsure about cats. Meet Boris

Boris is 7-8 month old beagle. He is a neutered male and is a very vocal dog. He is a loving dog who gets along with other dogs. He would do well with all ages but does not need to live in an apartment or any other similar housing. Boris Is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative. Meet Judy May

Judy May is a senior basset/beagle mix.  Judy May came from a nearby rural county shelter.  She is a fairly easy going dog.  Judy May doesn’t get in too much of a hurry about anything.  She gets along with other dogs and has even been known to play on occasion.  Judy May has had a dental completed as she had horrible dental disease when we got her.   She is doing much better.  Judy May is working on being housebroken.  She’d like a home she can relax in and get some regular rubs.  Judy May is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  If you are interested in any pet, please visit www.sparkyrescue.com/adopting to fill out an application.

This hound pup is approximately 12 wks old. She is working on her housebreaking. She is a typical puppy that likes to play. She gets along with other dogs but have not been around cats. Meet Reese

Reese is a spayed female. She is a fiest mix, about one year old. Reese is very sweet but can be a little shy til she gets to know you. She is working on her house training. Reese had some skin issues when she first came to us. She has been treated for these and her hair is looking better but we are unsure if she will ever get all of her hair completely back. Reese gets along with other dogs but we are unsure of cats. Reese is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Meet Silvia

Lulu is the WBKR Pet of the week!

Meet Lulu

Lulu is a six-year-old English Bulldog. Lulu loves her people and wants to be with them all the time. She loves napping, being outside and playing. She loves car rides and ice cream. She loves belly rubs and wants to snuggle in close. She sleeps in bed with her foster parents each night. Lulu is house trained but does need to go out at least every four hours. She is very sweet.
Lulu will need to be in a home without other dogs. She does best with .older children. Lulu does have some health issues and will be an expensive dog to maintain for the rest of her life. Lulu has had a couple of seizures but because she has only had two, no ongoing medical treatment is required for those at this time. Lulu has ongoing skin, eye, and ear issues. She takes apoquel for allergies daily. She uses tacrilomus for eye issues daily and she takes daily medication for hyperthyroidism daily. She also takes a joint supplement because she has osteoarthritis in her back legs.
